What is it that you would do, that if you had the time to do it you would just immerse yourself into? That thing that gives you good vibes, that you get lost in and time just slips away… yet you feel energised by it?

How often are you doing that? How often are you giving attention to that passion?

I see people doing what they think is expected of them by society, systems or organisations… to the detriment of their spirit and divine gifts. Their voices are often in a monotone, eyes dull and bodies motionless. They are ticking-the-boxes, meeting demands, doing -the-job…yet not really living.

Too often in my mahi I see people who have separated themselves from their passions. It’s a bit like a relationship break-up. It can happen gradually over time, with other things taking precedent over your relationship, until eventually you wake-up and realise you have nothing left between you. In this instance, the relationship is with yourself and you have lost connection with what fires-you-up.

Many years ago when meeting a couple of parents they stated to me that when their child was making the decision on subjects to take, they advised them to choose the teacher not necessarily the subject because if they had a passionate teacher, they would learn way more than someone who was just ticking-the-boxes. That particular child has since gone on to become a wonderful teacher!

Middle Leader Coaching and Mentoring

Are you a leader of an organisation or school who is intent on growing your middle leaders, but not quite sure how?
