It was International Women’s Day on the 8th of March.
This is a day of celebration, reflection and looking forward.
As we cast our eyes back, we have so much to celebrate.
As we hold space in the now, we notice a beautiful blend of softness and strength within us.
And as we cast our eyes to the future, we do so with hope and conviction.
This week, I wish to share one of my favourite poems by Anais Nin in the hope it calls you all to notice your own gold.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Next week is a new week, how will you step a little closer towards realising your gold?
Go well.
