It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept and celebrate those differences.

Audre Lorde
“We need to accept that we don’t always make the right decisions, that we’ll screw up royally sometimes. Understand that failure is not the opposite of success, it’s part of success.”
Arianna Huffington (Founder & CEO, Thrive Global)
Hi Mary-Anne
I can’t decide between these three James Kouze, Kao Tzu, Nelson Mandela, if I was honest I would choose them all. Maybe this says more about me in terms of my understanding of leadership and how I lead or try to. Leadership is just not one thing it is many things. That is why it is such a hard thing, being a leader. That ability to be selfless, to not be bothered about one’s ego or self-importance, and to redefine notions of power, authority and influence are concepts that I have to think about and reflect upon all the time.
